## About

Ken is the head artist at Hermosa Ink Collective, bringing over 30 years of tattooing experience and a strong foundation in traditional fine art. Originally from Japan, his work is influenced by Irezumi, with a focus on flow, balance, and how each design fits the body.
Based in Hermosa Beach and serving the South Bay and Los Angeles area, Ken is a well-rounded tattoo artist capable of most tattoo styles. He specializes in Japanese tattooing and black and grey realism. His approach is adaptable  and he enjoys taking on a wide range of custom projects and takes pride in maintaining strong composition and clean execution in each design.
Ken focuses on custom tattoo work. Each piece is developed from the ground up, working closely with clients to create designs that are unique to them. He is especially drawn to projects that require creative problem-solving and a high level of precision. When clients needing cover ups or having especially complex ideas have been turned down many times, we often find that Ken is he artist capable of making their idea come to life.
